去年の今日、イアンちゃんと結婚して夫婦になりました。あれよあれよでもう一年です。一年あっという間で、でも2人で過ごした時間はもっともっと長かったような感じもするのです。それはイアンちゃんが私を何より大事にしてくれて、そんなイアンちゃんの

１つ１つにありがとうって言いながら、イアンちゃんが喜ばせてくれたから私も喜ばせようとまた何かして、その毎日でお互いを知ってお互いのペースや喜ぶこと、いやなこと、短期間でもどんどん分かり合ってきたからなのかなあ、と思います。

短期間でもずっと一緒にいようと決められたのは、好きなもの、大事にしたい事、やりたいこと、やりたくないことに共通点が見えてたからというのもあるし。。

Today is our first wedding anniversary. We are feeling like 'A year passed already!' but also feel as if we have spent years and years together. Everyday, Ian does something for me which he thought I would be happy (and I am happy with things he's done for me!), and then I always want to give him back. Through the way we spend time together, we know each other better and better. That's, I think, the reason why we feel as if we had spent time for years rather than a year.

昨日はなでしこの試合に後ろ髪をひかれつつもイアンちゃんのバンドのギグに行って、それ自体もめちゃくちゃ大盛り上がりで楽しかったのですが、途中フランちゃんが私をステージに呼んで「明日はうちのトロンボーン奏者とその奥さんのはじめての結婚記念日なの！」と言ってみんなでちょろっとお祝いソングを演奏してくれました。うへへ、嬉し恥ずかし。。１１時半過ぎに終わったギグだったのでバンドや一緒にギグを見たお友達がしばらくバーラウンジに残って、日付が変わった瞬間バースデーソングを無理矢理アニバーサリーソングに変えて歌ってくれましたw

Last night, I and Ian's parents went to Ian's band gig in town. Fran, also one of the band member, asked me to step on to the stage in the middle of the gig, and celebrated our special day in front of the audience. The gig finished around 11:30, then we remained a bit afterwards and everyone sung for Ian and me 'Happy anniversary song', which they change some words of well-known song as 'happy birthday'.

去年のお式に来て下さったみなさん、お祝いの言葉を送ってくださったみなさん、本当にありがとう。イアンちゃんと私はちょびっと二日酔いをかかえつつ笑、元気におだやかに結婚記念日を迎えられました。

Thank you, everyone who came to our wedding or gave us loveliest wishes on the day last year. Although we are suffering from a slight hangover from yesterday (it's ok, it was all fun), we are enjoying our first anniversary.
