My vintage woven purse finally arrived after its 3months journey. You are more than welcome!

オンラインのショッピングサイトEtsyをご存知でしょうか。ここではヴィンテージと手作りの服、アクセサリー、雑貨などなど個性の光るものがたーくさん扱われています。個人が気軽にオンラインでお店を開き、それぞれの感性で品物をアップしているので、町中で探してみてもピンとこない時などここを訪れてみたりします。

Occasionally I try Etsy when I cannot find 'this-is-the-one' thing in town. So many people open online shops there and there are so many cute and unique vintage/craft things there.

ラフィアなどの柔らかい天然素材で編まれたバッグが欲しい、それもお買い物バッグとしてカラフルなのが欲しい！と思っていたもののなかなか見つからなかったのでこちらのサイトでお店を出しているアメリカ人の女の子からヴィンテージもののラフィアのバッグを購入。すぐに発送してくれたのですが、アメリカからってほんと時間かかるのよね、、、1ヶ月ちょっとは待っていたのですが一向に小包は届かず。連絡をとってみたものの、どうも途中で小包が紛失してしまったようだから費用相当のバウチャーか、返金かどちらがいい？と聞かれて決めかねていたら彼女からメールがきました。「ねえ、すごいことがあったわ！あなたのバッグ、私のところに帰って来たの！」

I really fancied getting woven purse, colourful one but I couldn't find anything particular which caught my eyes in Cardiff or eBay. My bag was on Etsy! Actually I bought this bag in May, but it didn't arrive. It's lost on its way! The shop owner told me that I can get a voucher or money back. I didn't answer for that for I could not see what to do. However, another email from her came very recently; 'hey, your purse's back to me!'.

The parcel seemed to have been in the UK, but somehow it's sent back to her in USA! Then, she kindly sent it to me again, and now, here it is! It's took its time so much....3 months!

５月の下旬に注文したのに、８月下旬に届いたというわけで、、、実に３ヶ月の長旅を経て、ようやく私のところにやってきたのです。。梱包に使っていたレースのリボンとタグが可愛かったので、捨てずにバッグに結んでいます。イギリスの夏はもう終わりだけど、落ち着いた色調だし、これからもお買い物バッグに使おうと思っています＾＾

Summer officially is over in the UK, but I suppose my bag doesn't look too summery for the fading colour. So I'm  going to use for daily shopping through the rest of year!
